rust & oxidation

I was worried about the corrusion on some of the bits on my bike, like the engen, exhaust and handle bar.

The entire engen is made out of aluminium so it oxidizes.

I hade a little oil leak at the rear cylinder top cover, it trickled down to the first and second of the cooling fins, you can see a clear difference of level of oxidation.

I desided to cover the rusting bits with motor oil, <br>15W-40 a good choice.
